Hi, I’m Eva!

I’m a special effects artist from Valencia, Spain, now based in Los Angeles.

I’ve been fascinated by fantastic creatures since I was a kid. Growing up, I looked forward to Fallas every year—a traditional Valencian festival where giant sculpted figures transformed the city into a world of imagination. The creativity of those artists left a lasting impression on me and inspired me to start designing creatures of my own. As a teenager, I discovered special effects as a way to bring those ideas to life, eventually leading me to me to graduate from college with a degree in Fine Arts.

Since moving to LA, I’ve developed my skills across a range of practical effects disciplines—sculpting, mold making, prosthetics, silicone work, airbrushing, and creature concept design. I’ve also fully immersed myself in the digital side of the craft: 3D scanning, digital sculpting, and 3D printing.

What excites me the most moving forward is to continue combining tried-and-true traditional techniques with modern digital tools to push the boundaries of what’s possible. As a special effects artist, my mission has always been to use these tools to make even the most fantastic ideas come to life.
